About Me!

Having spent most of my childhood growing up around the Norfolk Broads, I left school and started work at a local dental practice. I was there for 13 years and it was during this time that I came across my first ‘real’ Hypnotherapist. At that time, this profession was extremely rare and I was interested in learning about her profession and loved hearing about the treatments and therapy’s that she offered.

I left the dental practice when I had my second son and stayed at home to bring them up, along with their two younger brothers. Having four boys was a full time job! During this time I trained and became a registered childminder and moved to the Breckland area of Norfolk.

During both my former roles, I always enjoyed offering help and comfort to either patients, the children in my care or indeed the parents of these children. My boys grew older and needed me less and my life changed, meaning that it was time to focus on something for me again.

It was then that I was able to really give serious thought about Hypnotherapy and the benefits it offered. At varying different times during my life, I myself had previously been a smoker, had suffered from anxiety and depression, had always struggled with my weight and my relationship with food, had never had much self confidence or self esteem and had experienced some of the more major issues that life sometimes throws at us. It was obvious to me that

Hypnotherapy would have helped me to overcome all of these issues.

When the time was right for me, I embarked on my training to become a Hypnotherapist, Neuro Linguistic Programmer and Emotional Freedom Technique Practitioner. During this time I learnt a lot about myself and was able to improve my confidence, manage my weight more easily and rid myself of any remaining anxiety or depression…..all thanks to the skills that I had learnt.

I am now keen to help others with varying different life issues. The list is endless and includes weight issues, addictions, compulsions, phobias, confidence, self esteem, anxiety, depression, stress, motivation, insomnia, certain health issues, panic attacks, sports performance and exam performance, to name but a few!

I have a single room practice, set in the tranquil outskirts of North Elmham, a village situated in between Dereham and Fakenham.

I consider myself to be so very lucky, to have reached a stage in my life where I am able to do a job that I absolutely love and that is so thoroughly rewarding.
